We have a plethora of pelicans come up behind our home during the winter and take up residence on the roof of our boat lift. When seeing this sculpture, we immediately knew that we had to have it. It is truly stunning, well made and surprisingly lightweight. While whimsical, it really shows the characteristics of a pelican. We have already had neighbors ask about it; we did coat it to protect it from the salt air as suggested. We enjoy looking at it everyday and would encourage anyone who has a "thing" for pelicans to purchase immediately. If Viridian Bay decides to make a second pelican in a different pose, we would purchase.

It was a birthday gift for my daughter, and she loves it!
