This truly met all of my expectations. We live on Turtle Cove which is on a creek, so yes we have turtle's in our back yard who also sun themselves on the logs in the creek, but we also have grey herons too.
The heron is actually grey and not bronze like the turtle. I am using the lantern with a candle with a timer. ❤️❤️❤️
I love the turtle and crane lantern so much. I also have the smaller version that I also love. We have a small candle in the cage for nighttime and it’s just lovely

Had my eye on this for a while because of the story behind it. Purchased it with a couple of friends for a good friend’s birthday. I copied the story so she would know this was a token of our friendship. She loved it. I just wish a printed copy of the story came with the purchase.

My turtle and crane sculpture arrived yesterday afternoon in excellent condition. They are now in their new home in the courtyard meditation garden near the waterfall. They seem very happy there and I love them. I’m so very happy with my ordering/delivery experience.
