Beautiful! Just as pictured.

The teapot is beautiful in a funky retro way. I like it very much! I’m still trying to decide whether to give it as a gift or keep it for myself! I’m always happy with my Viridian Bay purchases. I just wish I had the money to buy ALL the lovely things they sell!

The top has 2 lips to keep it from falling off as well as an indentation in the rim that needs to be lined up before you ca. take the lid off .. very difficult .
