Acanthus Cornice Lantern // Acanthus Pavilion Lantern // Stylized Mimosa Pillow // Fleurs Brindille Pillow // Acanthus Leaves Accent Table // Spring Leaf Short Drinking Glass
To celebrate and welcome the coming of spring, we're whipping up a yummy spring cocktail. Basil margaritas, anyone? These cocktails are so delicious and easy to make, and the colors remind us of the first blooms of spring. They're perfect for your next backyard get together!
Recipe:
1 can (12 ounces) frozen limeade concentrate
10 strawberries
8 basil leaves
18 ounces tequila
Pour the limeade concentrate into a pitcher. Add 2 1/2 cans of water and 18 ounces of tequila (or a little less, if you don't want your drinks to be quite as strong).
Slice the tops off of the strawberries, slice the strawberries lengthwise, and add to the pitcher. Crumple the basil a little in your hands (this will help the basil flavor release into the drink) and add it to the pitcher. Cover the pitcher and place it in the fridge overnight, or for at least four hours.
When you remove the pitcher from the fridge, your margaritas will be a pretty pale pink color, and they're ready to enjoy!
