Tropical Sangria Recipe

Even though Halloween decor may be starting to pop up at your local grocery store, we still have over a month left of summer! So make the most of it with this refreshing tropical sangria. The recipe is simple and can easily be doubled or tripled to serve at larger parties. With a little of this and a little of that, you'll have a summery cocktail to serve up quickly. Whether you're sipping it at home in your living room or outside in your backyard, it'll come with a side of ocean breeze.

Verona Serving Bowl

Serves 6

1 bottle of white wine

1/3 cup peach schnapps

1/4 cup sugar (or to taste)

3/4 cup frozen mango

3/4 cup canned pineapple

1/3 cup pineapple juice (reserved from can)

1. Combine first three ingredients until sugar has dissolved.

2. Stir in remaining ingredients and refrigerate until chilled. Sangria is best made a day ahead of your party so that the flavors can come together.

3. Serve up in pretty glasses with some ice for a refreshing drink.

We would still use the 1/4 cup of sugar, however it is to taste, so you could use a bit less if you find it too sweet.

I noticed you used the cupcake wine. Does that give it enough sweet you don’t have to add the sugar?
