Four Ideas for Making Gourmet S'mores

Aspen Bowl Holders // Pine Cones and Needles Tray // Aspen Serving Tray // Aspen Condiment Server

While you probably don't need an excuse to make s'mores, why not take the last month of winter as an opportunity to cozy up by the fire and enjoy this delicious treat? If you want to take your s'mores to the next level, here are four ideas to easily take your s'mores from basic to gourmet.

1. Kit Kat S'mores. Replace the usual chocolate bar with Kit Kats, or another one of your favorite chocolatey treats (perhaps Reese's Peanut Butter cups) to add some different flavors and textures to your s'mores. Really any flat chocolate dessert will do.

2. Nutella S'mores. The beloved chocolate-hazelnut spread is a game changer for s'mores! Add some to both sides of your graham cracker before putting your toasted marshmallow in the middle and you're in for a real treat. Slightly messy, but so worth it.

3. Berry Reduction S'mores. You'll love this sweet and crunchy treat. Put some of your favorite berries in a bowl. We used strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. Sprinkle with a bit of sugar and stir. Then place the berries on a pan and bake in the oven at 450 degrees for 20 minutes. Let cool and then place your delicious berry reduction on top of your marshmallow for a berry s'more!

4. Caramel S'mores. Add caramel sauce to your s'more for a decadent treat.
