Really cute but bottom will not close tight

These are really cute. Smaller than expected but would be nice in a large grouping. What is unfortunate is the the bottoms do not close tight and tend to fall off. Need to keep them on with a rubber band.

This sounds frustrating and we'd like to help. The closure has a twist-in counter-clockwise design to a secure placement. This item is very well made, decorative classy & cute, not junky
I gave it 4stars because unfortunately the jackolanterns won’t sit forward with their faces showing forward they turn inward and back very disappointing, I’ve tried about everything but they just won’t turn to expose their faces, which for the price they should not be doing that
